Shipping statuses describe where an order is in the fulfillment process - independent from payment (payment statuses) and overall order status.
Typical flow
- Not shipped - awaiting processing
- Shipped - handed to carrier
- Delivered - received by customer
- Returned - sent back
Managing statuses
Edit, add or remove entries from Settings → Ecommerce → Shipping statuses to mirror your real logistics steps (e.g. add Packed, In transit). Shipping plugins map carrier tracking events onto these entries.
