The Checkout module centralizes how customers complete their purchase: allowed checkout modes, guest checkout, order-related statuses used at completion and which payment plugins are active.
Payment methods themselves (Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, bank transfer…) are provided by plugins - install and configure them from the plugins pages; this page ties them to the checkout flow.
Typical configuration
- Guest checkout - allow ordering without an account
- Order statuses on success/failure - which order status is assigned when payment completes or fails
- Terms / minimum order - enforce conditions before checkout
Payment plugins
After installing a payment plugin (each has its own settings page under Plugins), it becomes available at checkout. Disable a plugin to remove its method from checkout without uninstalling.
