Pages are used for static, non‑chronological content such as About, Contact, Services, or any informational sections of your website. Unlike posts, pages do not appear in blog listings and are not ordered by publish date.
Pages can be added to menus, assigned templates, and customized with the Page Builder. Aside from lacking categories, tags, and comments by default, they share most editing features with posts.
List View
Each row in the pages table displays key information about a page:
- Thumbnail - Preview of the featured image (if any)
- Page Name - Title of the page in the currently selected language
- Author - Admin user who created or last edited the page
- Comments - Number of comments (usually zero, since comments are disabled by default)
- Date Updated - Last modification date
- Status - Publish, Draft, Pending, Private, Scheduled
Quick Actions
Hovering over a page reveals quick action buttons that help you manage content efficiently:
- Edit - Opens the page edit screen
- View - Displays the page as visitors see it
- Design - Opens the page in the Page Builder for layout customization
When using the Design option, you can:
- Save changes as a new template (applies only to this page)
- Use the default template (applies to all pages using that layout)
Bulk Delete
You can delete multiple pages at once:
- Select multiple pages using the checkboxes
- A Bulk Delete button will appear
- Confirm deletion
This is useful for cleaning up unused or test pages.
Filters
The pages list includes several filters to help you quickly find specific content:
- Search - Searches through page titles and content
- Month - Filters by month and year
- Status - Publish, Draft, Pending, Private, Scheduled
- Author - Filters by admin user
Taxonomy
Pages do not use categories or tags.
Their primary taxonomy is Menus, which determine where and how pages appear in your site navigation.
