Themes control the visual appearance and layout of your website.

By switching or customizing themes, you can completely change how your site looks without altering your content.

The Themes section allows you to install new themes, upload custom ones, duplicate existing themes, and manage active theme settings.

Uploading a Theme

If you have a theme packaged as a .zip file, you can upload it directly:

  1. Click Upload theme
  2. Select your .zip file
  3. The theme will be automatically installed and added to your theme list

This is useful for:

  • Custom themes you’ve developed
  • Themes purchased or downloaded from external sources
  • Restoring themes from backups

Installing a New Theme

You can browse and install themes directly from the Vvveb Marketplace.

  • Search for themes by name or category
  • Preview themes before installing
  • Install with one click

Marketplace themes are ready to use and often include demo content to help you get started quickly.

Duplicate Theme

The Duplicate option creates a copy of an existing theme.

This is especially useful when:

  • You want to customize a theme without modifying the original
  • You manage multiple sites in a multi‑site installation and need variations of the same theme
  • You want a safe sandbox to experiment with design changes

Duplicated themes can be edited independently using the Theme Editor or Page Builder.

Activating & Managing Themes

From the Themes page, you can:

  • Activate a theme to make it the live theme for your site
  • Preview a theme before activating it
  • Edit theme files and templates
  • Access Theme Options
