The Database Import tool allows you to import data that was previously exported from another Vvveb site. This is useful for migrating content, restoring backups, or syncing data between environments.

What You Can Import

The import tool accepts XML files generated by the Vvveb Export tool. These files may contain:

  • Posts and pages
  • Products and categories
  • Users
  • Comments
  • Orders
  • Attributes, coupons, currencies
  • Any other selected database tables

The import process recreates the data exactly as it was exported.

How to Import Data

  1. Open the Import section in your admin panel
  2. Click Choose file and select the XML file exported from another Vvveb site
  3. Start the import process
  4. Wait for the import to complete

Once finished, the imported data will appear in your site immediately.

Important Notes

  • The import tool only works with Vvveb‑generated XML files
  • Existing data may be overwritten depending on what the XML contains
  • Large imports may take longer depending on server performance
  • Always keep a backup before importing into a live site
