Tax rates

Tax rates define how much tax is applied for a tax class in each region.

Creating a rate

1. Go to Settings → Localization/Ecommerce → Tax rates Click Add Set:
   • Name - e.g. "VAT 21%"
   • Rate - percentage
   • Tax type / class - which goods it applies to
   • Region - country and/or region group it applies to
2. Save

At checkout the customer's address selects the applicable rate; if no rate matches, no tax is added.

Use region groups to apply one rate to many countries at once.
