Subscription statuses track the lifecycle of a recurring purchase over time.
Common states
- Active - billing normally
- Pending - started, first payment not confirmed
- Canceled - terminated by customer or admin
- Expired - reached its cycle limit or end date
- Suspended - temporarily paused (e.g. failed payment retry window)
Manage the list under Settings → Ecommerce → Subscription statuses; payment plugins translate provider events (webhooks) into these states automatically.
