Categories are used to group products in a tree hierarchy.
You can reorder or move categories with drag and drop from one place to another.
Manage them under Products → Taxonomy → Categories. Each category has a name, slug, description and image; the slug sets the category page url. Assign products to categories from the product edit page (Links tab) so they appear in the storefront navigation, filters and the category pages.
